You should have 1 file download, that is a check file that will download every time you do a verify. That is under Library, Games, then RS, then Properties on the Local Files tab. Then yeah, sounds like a corruption in your install. I had a full set up done to my guitar only a couple weeks back.

I appreciate the time you've taken to reply. That will make sure the guitar is playing the best that it can and that the software can properly hear it.

Think of having a shop do a full setup on the guitar. Those issues may be overcome with an amp, but can affect the software majorly.
